Membership at Maraetai Tennis Club

Joining the tennis club is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to combine fitness, fun, and friendship! Whether you're a seasoned pro or just picking up a racket for the first time, our club offers something for everyone. With a supportive community, our club isn’t just about playing; it’s about building lasting connections and having a great time on and off the court. Memberships are valid for a full year, starting September.

Membership Types

Adult Tennis (18+): $230
Couple Tennis (2 Adults): $420
Junior Tennis (Under 18): $95
Family Tennis (2 adults and ≥ 1 child): $500
Pickleball (18+): $100

Inclusions

Tennis Membership:

Adults: Participation in Tennis Club Nights. Monday – Beginner/Intermediate; Tuesday – Intermediate/Advanced.
Junior Match Play: for children who can serve and hit the ball consistently over the net 3-4 times and want to increase their match play confidence. Friday nights.
Preferential access to economically priced club coaching programmes, run by our professional coaches (additional fees apply).
Opportunity to represent the club in Interclub competitions (additional fees apply for adults).
Entry into Junior and Senior Club Champs (Singles and/or Doubles).
12-month access to 4 flood-lit, astro-turf courts (when available; booking required; lights cost $2 per half hour). Note courts are available for member bookings (subject to change):
- September to April – Mondays before 7:00 pm, Tuesdays and Wednesdays before 6:00 pm, Thursdays before 3:30 pm, Fridays before 4:30 pm and after 7:30 pm, Saturdays after 5:00 pm, and Sundays anytime.
- May to August – Anytime outside of Club Nights.
Discounted clubhouse hire for private events.
Participation in club-organised tournaments and social events.

Pickleball Membership:

Adults: Participation in Pickleball Club Nights. Equipment provided. Played all year either indoor at Te Puru on 4 courts or outdoors weather prevailing. (Note Pickleball membership is a separate from and does not include tennis memberships, coaching or a key fob).
Discounted clubhouse hire for private events.

Facilities

Four flood-lit astro-turf courts.
Clubhouse with full kitchen, lounge, table tennis and lovely balcony overlooking the Tennis Club, the Hauraki Gulf and Te Puru Sports Fields.

Interclub Fees*

Junior: No additional fee
Senior: $50

*Interclub fees cover the Auckland Tennis Interclub fee, and the cost of match balls.

Uniform

We offer an optional club t-shirt or singlet for an additional cost.
